Looking at the no4 and no5 shampoo and conditioner and wondering is it worth the money?
Do you use it once a week or every time you wash it?

Or is there something better out there?

I'm also interested in opinions on this.

Yes definitly worth the money. it saved my hair after a bleach fail where my hair was fried! i would wet my hair at night and towel dry then comb it through my hair, throw a cap on it and sleep with it in.

This was olaplex no3. I used it 3 times and my hair was back to normal! i still have loads left. This was 6 months ago now.

I've just ordered a new number 3. Its excellent for my hair

LilaGrace · 25/04/2020 16:27

Yes- I love olaplex. I use the no. 3 every couple of weeks and also have the shampoo and conditioner (no. 4 and no. 5)- they're great. I don't have coloured hair but it's really an amazing boost for any hair.

There's a question on here about Tresemme shampoo and why hairdressers don't like it. The reason is that it contains silicone.

While the Olaplex salon treatments don't contain silicone their shampoo and conditioner do. I know that #4 contains silicone so it's to be avoided.

Before I knew this I used Olaplex #3, the first time I used it the effect was lovely but it was never the same after that first time.

Does no 3 contain silicone?

dreadpiratered · 26/04/2020 08:21

I use it daily, bottle lasts about three months. Hair is highlighted and has never been in better condition
