Hate my eye bags and dark circles (pic)

Hi folks,

Im 41 years old and look much older with these horrendous eye bags and dark circles. I drink and sleep plenty. I've tried every eye cream going. No change. Just when I'm really tired they get even worse. Has anyone had that tear trough treatment? Is it suitable for big eye bags or just if you have hollows under your eyes? This pic doesn't really show my bags that well. It really has impacted on my self confidence. Any ideas of treatments for this would be great. Cosmetic ones included. Thanks

I think they can be hereditary. I have them too, as does my mum.

The only time I’ve never had them was after an emergency surgery when I’d had IV fluids and a blood transfusion. Couldn’t believe it when I looked in the mirror once I was discharged, no eye bags and no discolouration.

You probably don't want to hear this but my first thought on seeing your photo was Wow what a beautiful eye. Really, other people won't see your eyes the same way as you.
So maybe just a bit of concealer underneath to brighten up. And you've tried lots of creams but I've found The Ordinary caffeine serum brilliant for puffiness.

You have beautiful eyes, I have eye bags too. I gave up on the creams and now just use Ysl touché on them and they cover them up nicely.

You have very pretty eyes. My dark circles are terrible and I’m having tear through filler when this shit is over with.

Thank you for the kind comments and suggestions. My bags are not shown in there true form on this pic. They are awful! Constantly been told by people I look tired. Doesn't seem like there is anything I can do really. I will try that The Ordinary cream and see if that helps.
