Beautiful dressing gowns

You know, ones that don't make you look like a care bear but are elegant, cool and cosy at the same time. It's my birthday soon, I want to splash out on a lovely, made-for-life dressing gown. But I can't find any that fit the bill. Do you have one that you love? And if so please can you share it with me?

PLOH. Ships from Singapore. Life changing dressing gown.

goldpendant · 25/04/2020 10:54

It's more of the bathrobe variety than gown though...

I saw these recommended on here and saved the site:

onehundredstars.co.uk/

They look lovely, but I haven’t ordered (yet!).

Love the look of the One Hundred Stars ones but I'm so short and they look too long

I had a thread on this the other day; if you scroll down you’ll find it. One Hundred Stars and Toast were my favourites, but there were several other great suggestions too. I’ve also just spotted a lovely quilted cotton one on Wolf & Badger that I’m on the verge of ordering.

Mine’s from verry kerry

It’s probably my favourite item of clothing. One Hundred Stars make pretty designs but the quality is shocking.

Curse you @Miaowse I now have to own everything on this website and I have taken an 80% pay cut.

My heart is broken .

Ifyou’ve seen something on Wolf and Badger try googling the company themselves. I bought a lovely bag Id seen on there from the makers direct. It wasthe same price but they donated a school bag to children in Africa for each bag sold and I presume they pay a fee to W&F, ok if you’ve a big turnover but they looked really small so I thought it better buying direct. They may still have donated a bag but it wasnt advertised on W&F and it helped me decide between similar items.

Desmond and Dempsey, Piglet in Bed and Liberty are all worth a look!

TeaMeBasil · 25/04/2020 14:55

Love One Hundred Stars.

I got a throw over and a scarf the other day and am really happy with them. They are thin but that was ok since they are meant to be wafty- don't know what the dressing gowns would be like tho.

Have been eyeing up verry kerry for a while too!

AnnaNimmity · 25/04/2020 15:01

I think Toast have some nice ones - I like the cotton ones. Not sure they're life changing though toast

I love Asceno for nightwear I'm trying to justify it for lockdown....

Wildernesstips · 25/04/2020 16:26

I’m 5’2 and have a 100 Stars one and it is fine lengthwise (though I am careful to hold it up when going up the stairs). It feels wonderful to wear.

Archip17 · 25/04/2020 16:41

Another vote for Verry Kerry www.verrykerry.com I bought my first one a year ago after a recommendation on here, and since then have purchased another two. Beautiful quality and prints. Not cheap but worth the money.

Gryffindora · 28/04/2020 18:18

Has anybody tried British Boxers for dressing gowns? They look lovely ...
