I really fancy a fabulous smelling rich and luxurious body moisturiser please! I'm trying to moisturise after every shower (well, when I'm on lates at least) and I have an Aveeno one but it's a bit meh. I want to smell divine and my skin to be baby soft.

If anyone has any suggestions?

I love the body shop body yogurt.

countdowntonap · 23/04/2020 20:55

I love the body lotions from Rituals, but always find myself going back to Palmers Cocoa Butter.

CoconutAmericano · 23/04/2020 20:58

I am keen to try the Aveeno yogurt one.

I have the almond body shop one and Dd has the banana one which she loves!

sqirrelfriends · 23/04/2020 21:03

If you don't mind a bit of work a whipped Shea butter is amazing. I add rose essential oil and it smells lush and is super moisturising.

VerbenaGirl · 23/04/2020 21:05

Aromatherapy Associates lotion is gorgeous.

CoconutAmericano · 23/04/2020 21:09

Do you mean whip shea butter up yourself squirrel?
I've never heard of Aromatherapy Associates Verbena but I shall Google it! appreciate the recs so far everyone

Another vote for the body shop body yoghurt.
Sinks in fast, long lasting, not as much faff as body butter.

CoconutAmericano · 23/04/2020 21:11

Holy moly they ain't cheap! proper luxury treat though arent they and I do deserve it lol

I like the soap and glory body butter also which is a totally different smell.

£10 delivery to Ireland, no I think the Body Shop yogurts might be winning it!

Molton Brown, the ylang ylang one. Mmmmmm it's so gooood!

CoconutAmericano · 23/04/2020 21:18

I might be going home tonight and buying more than one at this rate. That's the humour I'm in!

Loccitane amande is amazing stuff. It’s expensive though. The matching shower oil is fab too.

Mojitomogul · 23/04/2020 21:21

Body Shop body yogurt! Amazing! I hate feeling sticky but my legs are so dry I have to moisturise and this sinks in in seconds! The Moringa scent is light and fresh and reminds me of a rainforest and I feel quite exotic when I use it. The ginger one is lovely and smells amazing but more of an autumnal / winter smell for me.

Mojitomogul · 23/04/2020 21:22

They also seem to last ages for me!

theseriousmoonlight · 23/04/2020 21:26

I love the Body Shop Spa of the World Japanese Camellia Cream. It's a bit pricey for me and it's a cream, not a lotion, but it's the best body moisturiser I've used. It lasts ages, smells divine and is super luxurious.

I want to try one of their body yogurts now though!

CatherineTheNotSoGreat · 23/04/2020 21:26

If you are treating yourself, but the Chanel No. 5 one. I got it as a gift once and it made me feel fabulous, eventhough I’m not a perfume fan.

Other than that, La Roche Posay Lipikar is excellent but has no fancy fragrance.

CatherineTheNotSoGreat · 23/04/2020 21:27

buy the Chanel one, not but

WrinklesShminkles · 23/04/2020 22:08

Champneys Body Souffles are exactly what you described - rich and beautifully scented. Not greasy and make skin silky.

Hairydogmummy · 23/04/2020 22:35

I also really like body shop body yogurt. They're taking 3 weeks to deliver at the moment tho! Korres is nice as well. And their shower gels. Layering both together gives a lovely long lasting fragrance on the skin.

EdithHope · 23/04/2020 22:39

"Other than that, La Roche Posay Lipikar is excellent but has no fancy fragrance." I like this too and I add Clarins body oil to it, really lovely.

Otherwise I'm a fan of the L'Occitane Shea butter pot, pricey but super moisturising and smells delicious.

lotusbell · 25/04/2020 07:38

I love the origins ginger body cream

MumofTinies · 25/04/2020 07:51

I love the L'occitane almond milk veil but it's a bit out of my budget at the moment so I'm using the body shop almond milk and honey yogurt which is leaving my skin just as soft. They don't really smell similar (I was hoping for a dupe of L'occitane) but if you like subtle sweet smells you'll love either.
