I have one of these from the last collection with Marimekko. I hope they have improved the fitting. The arm and neck holes are small and the rest of the dress is enormous.
But spent a small amount to get it fitted better and I love it.

Ironically enough (seeing your username) I was going to come on to suggest they look like tents! Sorry I don’t like them, the zigzag one is much better than the spot one though. You could probably carry them off if you’re very “quirky”!

Agreed the tent look is a bit marmite. I am partial to a bit of tent AND IT HAS POCKETS

I love the patterns, but I am five foot one and petite. I would drown in that style. I have some Marimekko winter stuff that I love from Uniqlo. I do find you have to be careful to find items that you wear, as opposed to items that wear you.

It came! I ordered small in the end despite being 5 8 and size 12/14. I love it but yes i could accommodate a small wedding in my underskirt
