Extra layer? Help

I never get this right.

I’m in Scotland so the temperature is always cooler.

I like to be comfy and prefer softer fabrics.

In the summer, unless it’s really hot, I tend to wear jeans/chinos and a t shirt or a skirt if it’s warned. I have a few dresses too.

What I need is a layer to wear on top for if it’s cooler. I have a denim jacket but it’s quite uncomfortable. Also cropped cardigans but they look a bit dated now. What are others wearing?

Cardigans are never dated IMO. I love them and they are necessary, especially in Scotland!
If you don't like though, what about a sweatshirt? Or a heavy over shirt to wear like a cardigan?

Thanks! Yes its maybe the round necked ones that are a bit dated. The v ones look more up to date. So many are fluffy though which make me sneeze 😆

Sweatshirts seem to be the thing now.
