Have I ruined my eyelashes?

I had semi permanent eyelashes for a few months.

I've not used them for 2 years, yet my right eye has big gaps and they do t seem to grow . I've been using lilash serum which is expensive, my left eye is fabulous but still my right eye has a huge gap in the middle 😳. I get some growth but it's short and mascara makes no difference- it's as if I'm bald ! Why would my eyelashes just stop growing in the middle of one eye!!? It's seriously bugging me!

I have heard that the glued semi permanent eyelashes can damage the eyelash bed if not applied correctly or people keep pulling them due to irritation. However, I am no expert on this
