Alternatives to Elemis

At the start of the year I decided it was time to invest in a good skin care regime. I have dry sky, but always break out if I moisturise so only ever used water on my face previously.

I started using the Elemis collagen cleansing balm, toner and moisturiser after it was recommended to me.

Whilst I like the products and think they have made a difference, I’m not sure my skin is looking good enough to warrant the amount of money Elemis costs.

So, can anyone suggest any alternative products I should try.

The ordinary gets a good write up, I only have one item so can’t really recommend personally.

I’ve tried some espa things and like them too and they have a big sale on right now. I’m usually an Elemis devotee :)

Caudalie is really nice, I had a facial with it at a nice spa and bought some of the products after which have all been lovely

Paula’s choice

If you like the Elemis and the effects on your skin, then compromising and trying to find A.N.Other Holy Grail might end up costing you more in the long run.

(I discovered this with shampoo , trying different ones and finally came to the conclusion Aveda Shampure is my HG and I wait till M&S does a 20% off and buy a litre . Sorted for a year , no random purchases needed ...except BodyShop Ginger which DH and DS use , I use when my scalp throws a wobbly)

But ...look on QVC for Elemis . They do some good kits , some on 4 x EasyPay. Often the price is comparable to 1 -2 items and you the rest as a 'bonus' (P&P stings a bit though)

They often have the huge Elemis Balm as a Monthly Beauty Buy ( Free P&P)

60 day Money Back Gurantee at the moment
(Don't work for them BTW)

Body shop camomile cleanser , great and comes in balm and oil.

Other than that Paulas choice for everything else, toners , acids, retinol, moisturisers , eye creams...

And keihls ultra balm for when I am super dry.

Avene face masks .
