Has anyone used the above to buy a designer item they wanted authenticated?

Any feedback good or bad?

Looking at a Mulberry bag, and am not confident enough to tell by myself whether they are genuine online so the authenticity checks they claim to do appeal to me.

Yes I’ve got quite a lot from there and been pleased.

Vestiaire is reputable and has been around for years. It is a preloved site though, so you will also have to trust in the quality and condition as described as well as its authenticity.

For this reason you will always find people who had a bad experience buying through them.

I have bought a few things from them and been happy with the authenticity. I think they are pretty thorough, their reputation depends on it.

One problem I had was that an item I bought and paid for never arrived at the VC headquarters for them to check over. It turned out that the listing was really old but still listed as active, I did get a refund but it took ages. I've noticed that people list items on multiple sites and it might sell elsewhere and they forget to remove it form VC.

Now if I see something I like I always message to seller to check that it's still for sale.

I would be worried about superfakes that even VC couldn't spot although that's true for any 2md hand goods

Bought and sold with them with no issues. I wouldn't buy anything very popular that's known to have good fakes on any online sites though, I'm not sure if that applies to Mulberry.

Have you had a look at naughty pidgins nest? She tends to have a lot of mulberry and a really good reputation, even allows returns IIRC.
