GHD but cheaper

are GHDs still the holy grail of hair straighteners? I’ve had a few pairs over the years and now use a cheap straightener which does the job to an extent but I miss the instantly straight smooth hair from GHDs, they were so quick to use!

Can anyone recommend something as good but cheaper? What should I be looking for? Is it the temperature they go to that does the job or is it whatever the plates are made of? Or something else?

Thanks

My much loved GHDs finally died last year, but at the time the thought of spending £100+ on new ones felt a bit steep. After some hunting around, I bought some Kipozi Pro Hair straighteners I found on Amazon, chosen based on the reviews.

Absolutely love them. Heat up quickly, have variable temperature and the ceramic plates smooth over my hair with little effort. And currently £22.75.

Thanks for recommendation. Would you say they’re AS GOOD as GHDs?

I use kipozi too, the wide plates. I only do one pass through for each section.

one pass through is what I’m looking for! thanks all
