I see this recommended a lot but there seems to be a couple of different types (or maybe it's just packaging?) - one called Silk and one possibly standard one. Does anyone use, and recommend, either of these? I usually use Bioré Watery Essence but am running out anyway.

I use the heliocare oil free gel and I really like It:

It doesn’t clog pores and is great under make up. I’ve also used the tinted one on holiday and I liked that as well.

I use the fluid cream and have done for a few years now. Every day (all year round) over a light moisturiser and on makeup days it works well as a primer under my foundation. On minimal make up days it mattifies my skin and has enough of a tint to allow me to just add a bit of concealer in places.
Can’t recall getting burnt on my face since using it and some age related pigmentation I thought was developing before I used it has disappeared.
I’m very fair skinned it that’s helpful.

I must be the only one who doesn't get on with Heliocare. The strong fragrance is off putting. It also goes on very patchy and pills when I attempt to blend. I use the SPF 50 oil free dry touch gel and can't wait to finish it. I do think it offers good sun protection though.
