Recommendations for "light" fake tan products

My teenage daughter wants to try a fake tan, She is very pale so important that she does not come out looking like an oompah loompa. Has anyone achieved a light tan look from applying a home tan and if so which ones - I am sure there are lots of awful choices out there. Thank you very much.

Clarins gradual tan drops. Pricey but last ages. Buy the body ones and use on Facebook (it's the same stuff but cheaper)
Use one drop a day mixed with moisturiser, effect is gradual but you can stop if it gets too orange.
Very natural.

Palmers gradual tanner works as well as you could expect and doesn't smell as bad as others I've tried.

does not seem to be on clarins website - at least not under self tanning?

Isle of Paradise Light Drops. Lovely stuff.

I actually think the Palmers one is very dark for a gradual tan. The Bondi Sands everyday gradual tanning milk is easy to use and takes about 3 applications to give a good colour. One application takes the white blue glow off, two starts to show a bit of colour and three is a nice natural light tan. I am very fair.

Do you put the Bondi sands Tanning milk on your face? Thanks.

I found the St Tropez shower mousse was really great.

You can do - they have got a separate one for the face but I've never used it. Suspect it's probably the same thing in a different tube!

I use the tinted Dove cream for maintaining a tan. The light one will be very subtle.

For really pale skin you need a northern irish fake tan brand!
HeShi or VitaLiberata are both really good.

Ideal time to try them out, doesn't matter if it's not great first application- noone will see anyway!

I’ve used lots over the years and mine and dd’s favourite is Dove hint of a tint (I think it’s now called summer glow) moisturiser with fake tan. It comes in light or medium/dark and is really natural, I put it on every other day or so but you just use it like a normal body moisturiser. It also doesn’t have that horrid fake tan smell and it’s not expensive.
