Maxi dresses for shorties

I'm thinking after this lockdown ends a maxi dress may be the best way forward I'm 5ft 4 and an increasing size 12 on a good day and many dresses seem to drown me any recommendations for brands that may work

I usually go for midi or get petite maxi .

Im 5ft 1 and look great in maxis. I think its more your proportions, if you have a long torso relative to your legs then a shorter dress is better. You can always wear wedes or chunky heel.
