Took the plunge and used a box dye

I have light ash blonde hair, my roots were really getting to me. Usually have it dyed every 5 weeks at the hairdressers (it’s my treat to myself).

I used L’Oréal Preference Light Ash Blonde my natural hair colour is moussy brown with some grey probably.

Wasn’t expecting it to be up to hairdresser standards just wanted to disguise the roots a bit. I’m 50/50 it’s went a lighter brown you can see a line where I’ve dyed it. But it’s better than dark roots and if I have it up I think it’ll look ok.

My hairdresser will kill me but desperate times call for desperate measures hopefully it’ll ride me over until he can fix it.

Waiting another couple of weeks but on that result feeling more confident.

Thanks ladies it’s given me a boost for sure. I know it’s a little thing but I didn’t feel right with huge dark roots showing. It’ll tried me over until I can get it five properly again.
