Does anyone know anywhere in the UK that does stuff like this at reasonable prices?

Gap can be good for things like this - have a good trawl through their tops or try ebay. Hush slub and lightweight tees are also similar, and H&M sometimes have this kind of thing too - look at the premium quality line. (still not expensive).

I love American Vintage - they totally “get” what I like but so expensive :(

Yes - I'd love to fill my entire wardrobe with AV - but current climate not conducive!

American Eagle does T-shirts pretty well, and they're beautifully soft. Online only ATM obviously, but I think they're in Westfield and maybe a few bigger regional shopping centres in the UK. I know them from visiting Dubai.

HTH. The manufacturing quality isn't exceptional, but the colours, fabrics and styles are good and they are nice to wear. Sizing runs fairly true to UK S,M,L.

Really like that style. Revolve in the US used to be my go to for this kind of thing, they carry all kinds of brands and seem to specialise in that relaxed, LA kind of look.

Would love to find a UK alternative.

Now I've started looking at them, all I see is adverts for yet more tops that I yearn for!

All in the US though and mostly with poor service / delivery reviews...

That first link looks like they’re actually Chinese. You can find a lot if tops like that on Amazon.

There are some nice things on the Freepeople site - this one is lovely - but sadly I'm not down for £50 T-shirts

I searched through hundreds of tops on Amazon last night and ordered this one to see what it's like - I like the shape but not the material.

I just can't find anywhere that does that specific slubby linen fabric that gives such a beautiful drape. Still searching but loving the inspiration - thank you.
