Today I have on a stripy primark t shirt and black leggings (must be about 4 years old) sported by my very old and could do with a wash fluffy dressing gown. How about you?

Tried to attach a pic but it wouldn’t work! Will make more of an effort tomorrow Grin

Stripey dress from Finisterre, leopard print knickers by gossard, black racer back sports bra by Falke, blue and white floral liberty print scrunchie with bunny ears from Etsy, rose gold shiny Birkenstock Arizonas.

spinthebottle · 14/04/2020 18:57

Ooooh @TheStarryNight I like the sound of that scrunchie!

Leggings.... always leggings. They will need to be surgically removed after thus...

User18492725204065241 · 14/04/2020 19:35

Tracksuit bottoms, an ancient cropped cashmere cardigan, massive kickers and a silk scrunchie. I have worn little else for a month or so Blush

Mrsfussypants1 · 14/04/2020 20:48

Today black leggings, mens oversized t shirt from primark ( nasa moon landing one in white with hint of grey and red), red zip up hoodie, next black fluffy sliders hair down in a bob. Tomorrow h&m camel joggers, zara navy blue t shirt and veja all white trainers, perhaps denim jacket if it's cold. I'm going out for a walk tomorrow with DH Its been over a week since we left the house.

Frlrlrubert · 14/04/2020 21:30

My first ever style and beauty post :)

Tartan men's pj bottoms (primark)
Black midi knickers (m&s)
Navy vest top (H&M)
Navy zip up hoodie (matalan)
Ugg-style slippers (Sainsbury's)

Some days I dress up in old comfy jeans. Bras have become something I only wear when going out (I never thought that would happen to me). I haven't been out in over a week, going to the supermarket tomorrow, the excitement!

Lily193 · 14/04/2020 21:33

Stella McCartney cuffed trousers
Vintage fitted white broderie blouse
Isabel Marant sandals
White macrame fringed shawl

HeyMicky · 14/04/2020 21:36

Definitely not a bra, unless exercising

CowCat · 14/04/2020 21:39

Bright fuchsia second hand crocs

BunnytheHoneyBee · 14/04/2020 21:43

Really, no bra? Do you have small boobs?

That’s not an insult, I’m a size 8-10 with 32FF boobs and no way could I go all day without a bra

It’s rare I’ll go without one (a comfy one in bed))

Today I’m wearing
Dark blue jeggings (Gap or M&S)
Navy blue Oasis jumper
Plain navy Gap sweatshirt (if has navy fur on the inside)
With tan cloud 9 sheepskin Boots

Most days I’ve worn jogging bottoms and a t shirt with same boots. I suppose I’d call them house clothes but not sure why I put jeggings on today

Shockers · 14/04/2020 21:44

Blue elephant print harem pants from Forgotten Tribes, a long dark grey vest from Postcard from Brighton, a blue linen, short sleeved jumper from Fatface and Allbirds wool loungers in light grey.

I am very comfortable!

HundredMilesAnHour · 14/04/2020 21:51

I spent half the day in gym kit (I do 1-2 online gym classes a day and/or run) and the rest in fake leather leggings with a blouse (if I have video calls for work planned) or a T-shirt (if no-one at work will see me).

It feels very scruffy! So yesterday I decided to make more of an effort. I wore my Jimmy Choo evening sandals (with my dressing gown) to make breakfast in and for making lunch, I changed to my Dior evening shoes (with gym kit). I posted it on social media and sent them to the man I'm dating. At least it made people laugh. Grin

ShesGotBetteDavisEyes · 14/04/2020 22:34

I’m living in my sweaty Betty leggings - I’ve just ordered another pair in a different pattern as I’m sick of the sight of myself in them!

I’ve got loads of lovely new stuff from hush and nowhere to wear it though so might just crack it all out anyway - though it’ll probably all be threadbare by the time lockdown is over!

TheStarryNight · 14/04/2020 22:37

@Shockers tomorrow will be black and red floral harems from Forgotten Tribes, and red floral Henley vest from Monki and a red cropped cashmere cardi from Pure. I just got plain black harems from them too. I love Forgotten Tribes!

@spinthebottle The scrunchie

bettertimesarecomingnow · 14/04/2020 23:40

Well it was pink and purple leopard print pjs

But usually it's leggings, long vests and hoodies

spinthebottle · 15/04/2020 01:28

@HundredMilesAnHour that sounds fabulous!!! Grin. I bought so many spring/summer clothes this year due to a massive clear out and the fact we were meant to be going abroad! But they’re all now put away. Will try wearing some tomorrow!

Passthecake30 · 15/04/2020 08:02

I’ve been wearing 2 pairs of boot leg joggers that I’ve had in my drawer for about 20 years (kept for comfort/dirty jobs), one of many basic primark T-shirts and a hoody every single day. I get “dressed” into jeans and a cleaner hoody for my walk. Dd asked yesterday “are you wearing THAT to your online meeting for work?” Blush

MaryLennoxsScowl · 15/04/2020 08:35

I’ve been mainly wearing my baggiest, scruffiest jeans and the grey jumper I wore when my puppy was teething which has holes all over it, including on the nipple. No bra, no make-up, no wedding/engagement rings. The jeans look grubby even when they’re not and are a size too big so are very comfy! My work is very casual anyway and people can’t see all of you in a Zoom call so I’ve been putting on jumpers unaccessorised by holes for those.

Frlrlrubert · 15/04/2020 09:00

@Bunnythehoneybee

I'm a 34E, like I said I never thought I'd be the braless type, and if it get much hotter I'll probably change my mind!

I'd have to put one on for gardening or anything involving movement though, just had a verry lazy week.

spinthebottle · 15/04/2020 09:43

I’ve also been braless for about a week Blush today I’m wearing a nude/peachy coloured bra, (hooray a bra!) green top from Zara And high waisted jeans from top shop.

OP posts:
MuddyPuddlesAndPrettyBubbles · 15/04/2020 09:55

I'm in an oversized Captain America tshirt, bra from Next, pants from M&S, and lovely soft comfy pale grey joggers from New Look. No makeup but I never wear makeup.

I've been working out much more than usual and my skin is shit. Presumably it's the sweat? Gross.

sammiej55 · 16/04/2020 22:04

I'm pregnant in lockdown (21 weeks) so I've been wearing leggings (next) any baggy top that will fit (oasis/next). I was really hoping to have done some maternity shopping by now so looks like I'll have to hunt around online instead. I would have preferred trying a few things in the shops really, hopefully there will be time soon! To cheer me up my finace bought me a gift from www.charmingjewellerystore.co.uk from him and the baby, so cute!!

BunnytheHoneyBee · 16/04/2020 22:25

@Frlrlrubert I can see the attraction!

I worry no bra is likely to encourage boobs to sag. Is this a myth? I think it would be too easy to allow myself to get out of the habit of wearing a bra if I allowed myself that luxury! I consider it a great if I don’t make myself wear one in bed (I wear maternity bras these days that are comfy though im no longer pregnant)

Today I wore navy Gap jeggings, navy t shirt, navy gap hoodie

Which I just realised might be the exact thing I wore last time I posted!

SundayName · 17/04/2020 10:13

Nude bra (M&S) and pants (Primark), and I always wear a bra. Black leggings, slouchy t-shirt and hoodie (all Primark). White trainer socks and white trainers. Minimal makeup (mascara and lip balm, mostly).

I've fallen into this uniform as I don't have to think about it. I have 4 pairs of black leggings (2 from Primark, the £2.50 ones, and two from Morrisons, nutmeg brand). Also four slouchy t-shirts (Primark in bright pink, dark pink, aqua and grey) and two long t-shirts (Primark in dark pink and peach). I have two Primark hoodies in light grey and light beige.

Everything is very comfortable and it all goes together, it's quite liberating. I never 'got' the capsule thing before, but I'm so glad I had a bit of a spree back in February, with some vouchers I got for Christmas.

Big plus, they wash great, dry on the line and don't need ironing. I'm going to have a massive clothes decluttering session during this lockdown, and bag up loads of stuff for when the charity shops reopen.
