eBay purchases?

I have always bought mine and my kids clothes from eBay - second hand UK sellers only. For ethical and cost reasons.
My oldest son (8) and toddler (18 months) desperately need some new clothes and I would ordinarily be buying bits from eBay, but not sure if it's considered safe?
Are you still buying from eBay? Is it any worse than supermarket shopping?

Wash hands after handling packaging. Throw in wash before wearing it.

I've still been buying from eBay. No issues at all bar slower delivery times. If you're worried about the virus wash everything before using (I do this anyway with second hand clothes)

There could arguably be fewer people in the eBay chain. There will probably be one person handling, packing and posting, compared to the production line in a warehouse, distribution, shipping and courier company.

Why should a domestic house be any more virus ridden than a warehouse anyway? Humans are humans whatever building they occupy, you have no guarantees of the standards in either..

I’ve listed a tonne of kids clothing on eBay today! I figure many people will need to buy second hand due to finances and availability (I do now!), and will dispose of packaging quickly and then wash the items like I normally would anyway with second hand.

I've still been buying just washing before wearing like normal with second hand clothes anyway.
