Do you have a Summer wardrobe?

Looking for ideas of what to wear during Spring and Summer. Easy to put together. Faintly edgy.
In winter I wear a dress/tunic with leggings and biker boots with interesting coats. Hats and scarves.
I basically want to replicate that for the Summer with a bit of personality:
Was thinking - shirt dresses (suit me best) with trainers.
I'm not great at styling - any other ideas folks?

Get into linen jumpsuits.

I've gone for Lucy and Yak trousers or cuffed joggers with fitted t shirts and either leather sandals or trainers. Like this but with a t-shirt!

I have a few dresses I wear on rotation. All with pockets. I'm about to make a couple more for this summer.

I do want to try making a shirt dress in leopard print!

In summer it depends on the weather- I often still wear jeans but with cami tops or cotton tops; if it's warm I've got several short dresses including a black broderie shirt dress, & shorts, pretty flip flops & sandals or my Adidas if I'm walking far.
Bikins & short kaftans for the beach.
In the evening I wear a biker jacket if it's cooler or one of my Zara cardis as they're not too grannyish.

I love wearing very ripped, distressed denim shorts with cami tops in summer. Occasionally I'll wear a dress or playsuit.

Ninkanink · 21/04/2020 13:20

Yes, I do.

Generally, a lot of linen.

Dresses and tunics, sandals and lighter trainers (fabric/canvas rather than leather), denim jacket/cotton military jacket, stonewashed and lighter denim. Boiler suits for casual wear, jumpsuits for going out. Summery colours such as coral, peach, khaki, white. Lighter accessories such as tan, coral, yellow, dusky pink.

Colours would obviously depend on your skin undertones, to ensure they flatter you and make your skin sing rather than draining your face and making you look ill.

Yes, I live in a warm country. I have sleeveless dresses from COS and Issey MiyakePleats Please.
