Dress / skirt help

I'm a size 12/14 with a bit of a tummy and a bottom that sticks out quite a bit. I'd really like a few new dresses and skirts for the warmer weather but struggle to find things that don't look a bit tent like. Can anyone recommend anything? Thank you.

I'm a similar shape and I find fitted styles are better than full or pleated. So pencil or one's that are slim fitting over your waist and hips and then fuller lower down.
With summer weight fabrics I tend to wear firm control knickers do there isn't so much wobble
