Instead of Double Wear

I've been using Estée Lauder double wear for probably about the last 20 years and am beginning to feel that although I like the coverage and longevity of it I feel the need to try to find something that will last but not look quite so 'made up'. Any recommendations? By the way I'm 55 not particularly lined but quite uneven colouring.

Mac face and body foundation is lighter with a nice subtle coverage that lasts

I've switched to No.7 stay perfect. It still has a decent amount of coverage, goes on really nicely and feels less mask like than Double Wear. I also found that I got terrible flashback if someone took my picture with Double Wear on, my face looked like a ghost. But with the No.7 it's absolutely fine.

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, I would say rimmel London lasting finish under £10, its good as I don’t find it to oxidise and go orangey, has a great coverage and lasts most of the day, the only con is that you may want to reapply a powder throughout the day as it can become quite oily.

I also use Mac Studio fix which is a bit pricier around the £25 mark, but still very full coverage and feels lightweight. But, this tends to oxidise and go a bit darker when it has set in place; so I would recommend going a bit lighter than you usually would, or to get a match pot made up for you to decide for yourself. :)
