Does anyone do this already that could recommend a product?

I have very thin, straight blonde eyelashes and really want to give this a go so I don’t have to keep putting mascara on every day to avoid looking like a boiled egg.

Anyone?

I got one of those kits. Absolute pain in the arse! Save your money and time. You get the exact same results using an eyelash curler for 20 seconds.

I have the same issue! Following in case any good recommendations for home eye lash dye kits. Mascara ends up smudging (even waterproof) and it would be nice to have visible lashes without mascara on!

If you can get mail order from the Sally warehouse, you can buy lash dye and peroxide, Eyelure (spelling, or similar). Wouldn't bother with the lift, I find my cheap Superdrug curlers do just as well. Especially as the last time I had mine lifted, they weren't done quite right, so a couple were kind of bent, and I vowed not to let her near them again. I will still let her do back massages again, when the zombie apocalypse is over Grin

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants by sally warehouse do you mean sally beauty? Just trying to have a look at your suggestion.

Yes, that sounds like it. Used to be open to professionals only, now to everybody.

I've been on the Sally site, and there doesn't seem to be as much available as there is (or was?) in store. They Eyelure eyebrow tint gets good ratings, but is out of stock. I can't see it being much different to eyelash tint, when it comes back in tbh. The Marvellous eyelash tint, also out of stock, is not marvellous according to the ratings. Boots used to do a weaker version in a mascara type thing, but haven't seen it for a while.

I’ve ordered it from falseeyelashes.co.uk
Can’t wait to have actual visible eyelashes!!

DelphiniumBlue · 14/04/2020 13:04

On this topic, does anyone know what the difference is between eyelash and eyebrow dyeing kits? I'm sure it used to be just one product.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 14/04/2020 15:34

I can't see that it would be a lot different, Delph. Maybe one contains eyebrow guard paper, and the other the half moon shapes that you use with eyelash dye? Should be able to improvise these though, and use vaseline to protect. Might be just a way to get you to buy two separate products.

DelphiniumBlue · 14/04/2020 19:11

SpongeBobJudgeyPants, I think you are probably right. I've dyed my eyebrows for years, on and off, but never tried eyeslashes. Needs must now, though!
