Inspire me please - outfit for DS for sibling's baptism

Obviously I'm not buying yet, with the current situation, merely planning.
My DC2 will be being baptised once this is all over and I'm looking for a smart outfit that's not a suit.
DS is 2, and DH doesn't like the look of the tiny version of suits. I'd like it to be fairly smart for the occasion of our DC2's entrance into our church family.
I loved the heritage collection that Mothercare did but that's clearly not an option. Something similar would be good, but I'm at a loss for ideas. I'm not really style oriented though Grin.
Are chinos and a nice shirt/jumper my only option?

I've just twigged, I'm after prince George style clothed, without Kate Middleton's budget.

Anyone with any recommendations please? Grin

Monsoon used to do linen shorts & waistcoats in stone or baby blue which looked smart but cute & comfy.

Matalan sometimes does bits I think fit that vibe. You have to buy them when you see them though.
