Suncream for the face

Morning all,

I hate suncream. I love that it protects my skin but I hate the bloody feel of it on my face. Currently using Nivea factor 30 but it's just the one for the body.

I have an oily t-zone and suncream just makes it so much worse. Can anyone recommend a suncream for an oily face?! I don't care about the budget for this as long as it works!
Thank you!!

Biore watery essence. It's the only thing I'll wear on my face as sunscreen since I tried it.

Oooo that rings a bell! Think I've tried that years ago! Will look into that again

Hello Farmer SPF50

dkl55 · 11/04/2020 10:38

I've been recommended Heliocare 50 and it's fab. There is a tinted one too.

Clarins do a facial suncream which I use, I have sensitive skin and it's always been great for me.

LuluBellaBlue · 11/04/2020 10:42

Another shout for Heliocare, my skin actually improves when I wear it every day - summer and winter.
I never wear foundation or powder as hate the feeling on my skin, this soaks straight in and you can’t feel it - plus it’s factor 50 so much better for you than a lower factor.

La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra-Light Invisible Fluid SPF50+
is the bomb. It's weightless and just glides on and the protection is superb (ultra-high UVA and UVB).

Winederlust · 11/04/2020 10:47

Ultrasun. I use it on it's own instead of moisturiser in the summer as I have combination skin and can get greasy too. They do anti-aging and sensitive versions depending on your needs.

I use a tinted avenue factor 50 on my face. It’s very light and doesn’t feel like sunscreen. Would recommend.

YakkityYakYakYak · 11/04/2020 10:53

I have really oily skin too and am prone to breakouts. I’ve been using DDs child’s farm factor 50 on my face this week and my skin has been fine with it.

TwoTrailerParkGirls · 11/04/2020 10:56

Heliocare gel oil free SPF50 is fab

CottonEaster · 11/04/2020 10:58

La Roche Posay effeclar with spf 30

SansaClegane · 11/04/2020 11:07

Mine is from Superdrug, spf50, for a 'matte look' and was proper cheap too.

wanderlove · 11/04/2020 11:44

I got Frezyderm 50 off Amazon after a recommendation on here. It's like a primer and makes your skin look gorgeous. I can't recommend highly enough. If I remember rightly it's about £15 for loads. I wear it everyday. You can get it delivered too so perfect for these time

Neonyellow · 11/04/2020 11:45

LaRoche Posay Anthelios. It's very thin, and not greasy.

BeNiceToYourSister · 11/04/2020 11:56

Second La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF50+

Thank you all! I will research!

+1 for Biore watery essence

I’m sitting in the courtyard wearing it now... unfortunately the sun didn’t get the memo as it’s cloudy here, but I’m determinedly sitting here in hope anyway.

I found that Roche Posay Anthelios melted into my eyes

Body shop skin defense spf50 is excellent- very light feel and doesn't add shine
