Can I use blonde box dye on my roots with bleached highlights?

Normally have my hair highlighted with bleach highlights. My natural colour is dark blonde. Highlights pretty fully done so looks almost like a full colour.

My roots look awful.

Ordered Garnier Nutrisse Baby Blonde.

Do you think I can use it on my roots then blend through the rest of my hair for the last 10 minutes for even colour?

No your roots will end up yellow don't do it. No box dye is going to lift your hair as light as bleach does. Trust me it won't look good

Oh Confused was afraid someone would say that.

That's what I've done. There's no need to blend it into the rest of your hair, it will blend it pretty well just left on your roots. It won't lift your roots to a light blonde with one box, but it takes the edge of the difference in colour of your roots. Mine has gone a bit brassy and isn't blonde enough so I've got a bleach kit for next time, I'm doing a bit of trial and error while I'm not working Grin I think you'll be pleased with the garnier though, you won't look like you've just stepped out of a salon but it will certainly make your roots less noticeable.

I'm still working from home and doing conference calls and I'm looking like a badger
