Sporty stylish jacket - impossible equation?

Morning,

As a lot of people I find myself mostly at home, going for walks to exercise or hanging out with the kids in the garden. No need for blazers or leather jackets or trench coats anymore, instead it's a mix of random fleeces, puffer vests and rain jackets. I'd love to find a jacket that let's you be active but also looks great - anyone mastered this impossible combination?

This need for specific clothes for this lockdown is getting ridiculous. It will be over in a couple of months, surely you have enough items of clothes to cover yourself with. Its not as if comfy clothes for sports or weekend leisure wear didn’t exist before? What makes your leather jacket suddenly obsolete? It will be summer once this ends and then all the new leisurewear will be ditched for summer dresses and linens...
Just wear your current sporty fleeces or puffers with leggings, or your leather or trench with jeans for your daily walk.

Sorry OP, I realise that's harsh, apologies, its just the amount of threads for spending money on such a short period of life is silly.. I find phrases like "No need for blazers or leather jackets or trench coats anymore" a bit OTT. This current situation will be short lived and of course you'll be back to wearing them in no time. Apart from the fact it will be summer by then!

I've got a soft shell jacket (a bit like this https://www.firelabel.co.uk/outdoorwear/mens/soft-shell-jackets/rs121-result-classic-soft-shell-jacket.html?colour=bottlegreen&gclid=CjwKCAjwssD0BRBIEiwA-JP5rDq8mMXFDU5bohsezum5qMUouhSN3n1xTKX9Keaw1FwCiys74BgHPRoCz94QAvDD_BwE )

Not as smart as work jackets but feels smarter than a fleece etc. Mine is slightly fitted which makes it feel smarter.

Rather than needing anything specifically for lockdown, I think what you've spotted is a gap in your wardrobe for something that will be useful going forward.

Roughly, what kind of budget did you have in mind?
