Piercing. ? Am I immature to think I want to get them?

I been thinking for a bit that I would love to get my nose and septum pierced, am I just dreaming of my teens because I could not do it and now I could but wonder if it is beyond me now and a silly question?.

I love those two and hubby does not mind and have thought about others to get but just scared too?. It might be my mind just stuck inside too. Lol.

Every time we go to the piercing studio, there's always a mix of ages getting pierced. Go for it! I love my nose piercing and have been thinking about getting the other side done too.

Weirdly enough compared to other pp, my nipple piercings absolutely gave me the least hassle and they healed with no complications..my naval was a huge pain though and I ended up on many antibiotics

I say go for it! You're never too old/young/whatever to look the way you want to look! Although I had super bad luck with my nose piercing. I had it done twice and both times it didn't heal properly and remained very very sore. It's also the MOST painful piercing I've ever had.

Weirdly, my nipples have been pretty much fine. I had them done last April and I've not regretted it at all, except when I manage to catch a shower puff on them - OUCH!

If it helps OP, I'm 44, never had anything pierced, and having finally decided to get my ears done this year, I'm also thinking about my getting my nose done to as I've always wanted it. I also quite like the idea of my helix and either daith or Tragus, the problem is, I doubt I'd go back, so i quite like the idea of getting them all done in one go.

Don’t do it. I had me belly button done in the 90s and even now I have to squeeze this cheesy gunk out of it.
Piercings stink.

Not immature - just a bit silly?

Pierced ear lobes are ok, but anything else (and tattoos) just look awful. They make otherwise attractive women look - well, unattractive.

I had my nose done last year. Absolutely love it. I'm 35 now and want my daith doing at some point.

I also want more tattoos but that's another story.

I’m 48. I’ve got both ears done, my navel and my left nostril done. I’d like a nipple doing but I’m a bit of a wuss about the pain! I’d also like my septum doing.

I miss my piercings. I used to have a nipple, my bellybutton and tragus a lot of other ear ones. When I turned pregnant I suddenly became allergic to everything and had to take them all out.

This is incredible support, thank u I am a bit more confident to know I am not so scared now to know I am not the only person my vintage to be trying out new things I was worried would be looked as immature. I know it is not for few like that one person said but can not hurt for me to try.
