Curly Girl spray advice please!

Hi all, am using lockdown as my opportunity to go Curly Girl! My hair is only 2b, sometimes 2c (I seem to get a different result every time).

I've been using the Cantu products which work ok but would really like to find a spray that works on DRY rather than damp hair to keep the wave / curl pronounced and get it back a bit if it starts to drop out.

Any recommendations? All the ones I've found are for damp hair and I already have products for that.

Thanks

I sometimes scrunch a bit of mousse into try hair to keep the curl. I follow CG and use the Pantene one for curly hair

I do a dry refresh now, I think it's called 'frosting? Just take some mousse or gel and sweep over your hair gently without pulling, then scrunch a little, not too hard. Let it dry out by itself and voila!

I used to spray with a spray bottle of water with a little conditioner mixed in, but it does seem to add frizz.

I just use water for a dry refresh. Not often though, I generally move around so much in my sleep I need a proper rinse and restyle!

I do own the Cantu spray - don't like it much. It's sticky, the spray bottle is terrible, and I don't find it does anything plain water doesn't.

L'Oreal did one a few years ago and discontinued it. I loved it. Always my favourites are discontinued!

Not sounding promising! There has to be something out there as I really dont want to have to rewash every day...

I don’t wash every day, but I do soak my hair in the shower and reapply product. Then dry. I don’t like the way my hair feels when refreshed even if it looks nice.
