Hey, my 10year old has started her period, she's doing OK although it is quite heavy and painful. I've been looking into period pants and reusable pads as she's quite environmentally conscious and I want her to try a few things so she can find her own preference rather than me just giving her stuff and her just going along with it. Has anyone used the period pants? Have you got any favourite brands? She is very small built if that makes a difference. Would you recommend them? I'm thinking for protection and peace of mind buying the pants to use with pads so even if she leaks it won't show? What do people think? From my own perspective I can't wear tampons they make me very ill (I know she's too young to use those anyway) I use a specific brand, extra long with wings, heavy flow night secure all the time on my period and I wear 2 of those at a time as I'm so heavy so my choices have always been quite limited and I don't feel as secure with other brands, so I really don't experiment and as such I'm not the best person to ask.
