Nail care advice please!

My DS is 7 months old and in the past few weeks my nails have been in a terrible state. They’re weak and splitting really quite far down the nail. I’m using copious amounts of hand cream (especially to combat the dryness of all the extra hand washing) and take a multi vitamin everyday.
Are there any products or tips anyone could recommend as I’m desperate to grow them again. Thanks 😊

Nu Nale cream is great. I also use CND Solar oil and CND RXX Rescue oil. I've had gel polish and dip powder acrylic polish on since Xmas and my nails are a bit buggered. I had the last load of polish removed properly just before lockdown, so am trying to give my nails a rest and a treat. Keep them short too, until the healthy nail has grown up.

You’ve mentioned your son’s age. Do you think it’s something to do with having had a baby?

My nails became very brittle after having my son (around the same time I had post partum hair loss). The OPI nail envy polish has been good at getting them strong enough to grow out a bit.

Plunplunkfizz- yes I did wonder if it was related as my hair has been shedding more than normal as well.

Hair skin and nail tablets - make sure they contain a high amount of biotin, or you can buy singular biotin tables on amazon ect.

Sally Hanson also does a strong nails base coat, can't remember the name but it makes your nails solid so they don't snap. Keep them short for a few months
