anyone else in a similar situation ? I had a beautiful hair system put in by Hairsolved - It should have been retightened 2 weeks ago and is now wiggling around on the top of my head. Do i try and remove it ? Tighten with grips or start wearing head scarves ?! Any tips appreciated !

I am in the same position- I have great Lengths hair Extensions that really need to be re done. I can probably hold off for another month but after that my head will be like a birds nest
If you can take yours our I would- mine are really difficult too so just have to wait until they fall out, one by one !!!

I took my own extensions so that I can care for my hair as best I can until I can have them properly maintained again. I had micro rings so was able to take them out gently with pliers. My hair is very thin and damaged underneath but my thinking was that they would get matted if left in. Good luck

If they are tiny micro rings you can buy a pair of hair extensions pliers off eBay and gently squeeze the rings and take them out yourself. You can see YouTube videos which will demonstrate for you.

Just found this thread - I've been tightening my own system - I bought pliers and micro rings from eBay. It's not perfect but feels secure and should be ok until the salon opens. If you live with someone who can help you with it it might be easier!

My friend may be interested in this hair solved system, could I ask how much it is please? The website doesn't give any details, and I know she won't go and get her hopes up of its out of her budget. Also, aside from this specific situation, are you happy with it?

There are different sizes of system, hair lengths and hair types so the cost varies. A new system is in the region of £1,500. Monthly maintenance about £50. Every 6 months it's a few hundred to realign it and then every 2 to 2.5 years you need to buy a new system. If you average it all out, it's around £200 per month. It's a lot of money but I'd give up a lot of other stuff before I give up this. When I'm older I expect to get a wig or two which I hope will be cheaper. I'm generally happy with it but it mine does start to feel scruffy after a couple of months but I spend very little time styling it.
