I think they are grim, but dd thinks they are the height of cool. Will her pals be when she finally sees them again wearing one. Is there a hint of the —chav— less than middle class about them?

I would say your 'snobbery' is a thumbs up to her getting one. Kids don't want their parents' fashion advice. We don't know anything cos we're ancient and were never young

My kids have a few Hype hoodies and joggers and without exception, they wash beautifully so I don’t mind them at all!

I am definitely a snob when it comes to clothing brands!
