II intend to waft with them flowing silkily around me and pair them with a cropped jumper and ballet pumps or crisp trainers.

Any light fabric, except linen. Any colour. Highish waits ideally. Hopefully £50 or less

Thoughts anyone? Daffodil

Some here. Bit more than £50. I’m too short for them, but I love this woman’s skirts.

What a funny thread, we're like moths to a flame!

I would suggest you at least wear them with sensible shoes, but mine "caught" on the rubber sole of my sensible shoe.

I got some a few years back at Debenhams, but that obviously isn't an option now.

I too used to trip up stairs where the toe would get caught! A danger IMO unless they are short enough to not get caught- but in that case, the shorted length would look odd. Might be more in the shops closer to summer?

I have these www.brora.co.uk/dt1923lb1928

I went arse over tit in mine whilst strolling along a harbour in Sardinia in front of many, many people.

Elegant it was not. Especially as I shouted 'Jesus FUCK!'

nzeire · 07/04/2020 12:40

Omg, flew in shepherds bush, flew I tell you, before landing solatvon my knees. Very dangerous indeed.

roarfeckingroar · 07/04/2020 16:24

Nah. They look way too dangerous.

SummersMahoosiveClipOnFringe · 07/04/2020 16:37

I too stacked it in a pair of these. Was most ungainly I can tell you ...especially accompanied by a 'fucking shitter' at the top of your voice.I sort of did an exaggerated Weebles wobble too because they were jersey and acted like a tension band. Mortifying. My DH just stood there gaping like a cod at me. Helpful that was....

I only wear the cropped beasts now and balance it out by wearing some lace up the leg shoes/sandals so they look less jack ups.
