Does anyone have really wide feet?

And wears white trainers? I’m talking feet like a hobbit. A HOBBIT. I would dearly love to wear a simple pair of white canvas style shoes/plimsolls but have yet to find something that fits my wide, shire horse feet. I’ve tried Simply Be’s wide fit canvas shoes but they still rubbed like anything.

Please offer me hope, if there’s any fellow hobbits out there.

Yes it is a Japanese make. You can get them from urban Outfitters but they are about £50. I got them from yellow mountain. If you search in google and much cheaper. They were designed for Kung-fu apparently really comfy

I have lymphedema which makes my feet swell. I buy boots from Evan's in an eee.

Trainers wise I was only buying sketchers but some Adidas fit too. I feel your pain.

SapphosEyes · 05/04/2020 14:22

I have extremely wide feet plus bunions but these canvas pumps fit brilliantly. They're a Czech brand called Peerko, available in the UK from happylittlesoles.co.uk.

I've also got very wide feet... Shops like clarks used to do an extra wide but very little options now. I'm really a 8EEE wide after 2 kids (before kids just normal wide) ...i live in sketchers trainers but did get a couple of pairs of smart ankle boots years ago online from a company now owned by simply be...
Some lovely heels would be great but I've given up trying...

RandomMess · 05/04/2020 14:37

For "nice" shoes Sargasso & Grey are lovely and decent sale prices.

Alas the size 3 is a true 36 so they are too long for my hooves Sad

whatnow40 · 05/04/2020 14:43

Hotter do up to EEE fitting and have some nice styles, and also some frumpy ones!

I second Sargasso and Grey, they are fabulous

nuttymomma · 05/04/2020 14:52

skechers are great. Simply Be also do wide fit. And Pavers are a good fit too.

RandomMess · 05/04/2020 14:53

@CosmicVagina 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was so gutted!

GrimDamnFanjo · 05/04/2020 15:31

I've managed with Superga and am about to venture into men's trainers...

travailtotravel · 05/04/2020 15:48

Me too. Wide but narrow heel. I wear Mens Tom's and Converse.

Tigerty · 05/04/2020 17:29

Another hobbit here, size 5 and 6E fitting. Hotter shoes are too narrow. Evans can have shoes that fit (although I need to buy a size 6) but it’s hit or miss. So if I find something I’ll buy 2 pairs of them.

superram · 05/04/2020 17:31

I wear Clark’s wide fit shoes and love Adidas superstar.

Inmyownlittlecorner · 05/04/2020 17:32

Skechers are great.
I’ve got a pair of new balance but they’re a bit tight.
I can recommend Heavenly Feet. They’re true to size & THE most comfortable boots I’ve ever put on my feet. I’m going to buy a pair of sandals & trainer type shoes from them next pay day.

wonderpants · 05/04/2020 19:06

Rocket dog are quite wide!
My feet are practically round!

GrimDamnFanjo · 12/04/2020 18:30

Yes I've worn Rocket Dog.

I'm looking for something less flat. I've had Nike Airforce 1s recommended.

MaxFetch22 · 12/04/2020 18:48

Following this. I have duck feet - extremely wide and flat at the front with a narrow heel. I have Nike internationalist but I think they are only ok as they are so soft.
Have had some genuinely wide shoes from ASOS but they're not great quality.

WellIWasInTheNeighbourhoo · 12/04/2020 19:03

I 2nd superga's - fab plimsolls for hobbits. Clarks and fitflop sometimes have nice things too.

CrepuscularCritter · 12/04/2020 19:06

Sketchers here too for my hobbit/frog feet. And also, oddly, Asda trainers with the velcro bar strap are also plenty wide enough.

Pleasebefriday · 06/08/2020 07:30

Joining this thread late but saw mention of Sargasso & Grey. I wear their lovely shoes and just want to say that they have a good sale on right now but it finishes tomorrow!

Pleasebefriday · 06/08/2020 07:31

...and they have a sale on now!

30daysoflight · 06/08/2020 08:05

Yours Clothing all EEE fit.

Primotomb · 06/08/2020 20:39

Very wide feet here, usually need eee in simply be. I have these fitflop f sporty in white leather and they are soooo comfy I bought them in black too.. Look fab with a dress or jeans and somehow manage to minimise my extra wide size 9's. Got them in the sale but would happily pay full price. www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/f-sporty-perf-scoop-cut-leather-trainers-p-K36#011

Frankiemintz · 07/08/2020 17:40

I have wide feet and find that Nike Internationalist and New Balance 574 fit me the best. Sometimes I find it better to size up and then wear inner soles, as it creates more width at the toes.

GaraMedouar · 07/08/2020 17:48

I have wide feet and find Skechers trainers comfy.
