Lip colour help

I’m looking for a nice everyday lip colour but have never found one that’s just right.
I have light brown hair, hazely brown eyes, light complexion which I think is more neutral /yellow toned ? But I do blush easily so can look pinker if that makes sense
Pillow talk the supposed flatters everyone shade looks horrific on me. The liner is too browny orange on my skin , the original lipstick makes me look dead and the glossy version of it is too purple and makes me look very unwell and accentuates my dark circles

I just want something flattering for day to day not too bright just a nice pinky nude that flatters my skintone and isn’t too drying but after my expensive CT mistake I don’t want to waste money

I would try the three brown/pink shades here from Bobbi Brown- ignore the really pink onion the left.

I have similar colouring and the same problem. Most colours look garish on me where they might look subtle or flattering on others. I like Burts Bees tinted lipbalm in Black Dahlia - it's supposed to be a dupe for whatever that posh lipstick that suits everyone is. Can't remember the name.

Sorry red dahlia - but it's not really red, it's more a 'your lips but better' shade - at least it is for me.

I think you probably need something in the mauve-pink family rather than brown-pink. Try sandwash pink by Bobbi Brown or MAC Brave.

Thankyou ! I’ll have a look at these suggestions I just want to look polished and healthy but all I’ve managed so far is choosing colours which totally drain my complexion

Choose a lipstick close to the shade you blush and go from there, I'd be inclined to say steer clear from brown pinks tbh. I actually think the pink Bobbi Brown lipstick would suit you.

The pink nude or soft nude.
