I always knock off a good ten years then have to do the fake surprised bit.

Do people ask? I can't emember the last time someone asked me.... I can't understand the obsession on MN though. It's getting more frequent.

It’s amazing what a difference smiling makes. I always rate the people smiling as being younger than they are but the moody looking people always look way older to me!

I don't much like long hair draped around a face at all, its quite ageing.
But the lighter coloured hair is better for you than the dark. But I did guess your correct age !

This is such a weird thread. Why would you post unless you’re fishing for compliments?
And why does it matter how old you look? Would you start a thread saying ‘guess what I ate for dinner last Tuesday!’ Or ‘guess what shoe size I am!’

I'm sure this is being discussed on Reddit. The last post a few months ago on guessing my age was and the comments were not nice.

You know on the X factor when those kids were absolutely shite? When they could not sing for shit and their mums should not have bigged them up so much that they became delusional? Shouldn’t someone have been more realistic with @ILikeyourHairyHands and told her that “yes, actually you look at least late 40s-mid 50s, why do you keep imagining that you look younger?”

Completely agree with PrimeraVez. Why does age need to be so important? No wonder ageism is so rife in society! I think people can look fantastic at any age, but everyone does generally look their age (even with Botox, fillers etc).

I think you're misunderstanding me TK, I don't think I look younger, I've never thought I looked younger and I put no value on looking young. Which is why I always post on these threads. I don't want a load of people telling me I look 35 or whatever, I know I don't. I do have very positive self-image though, which is frowned upon for some reason.
