Hairyhands it can't be denied that you don't want to look young, as you have grey hair. But you do always want to be told you look good, contrary to what you say. You're always posting photos of yourself in odd angles to make it look like you're just messing about. Why not ever just post one normal, natural pic and be honest that you want to know if you look nice? Since you're not playing the 'guess my age' game.

I’m not disagreeing with anything you say generally but there will be people who don’t post for a variety of reasons - some maybe because they are “comfortable in their own looks”, some because they aren’t, some genuinely don’t care what others think and some because they can’t be bothered. Other reasons too.

So it follows that people can get post pictures of themselves for a range of reasons too. It’s clear some are fishing for compliments but I don’t believe that’s true of everyone.

Many people wouldn't post just because they don't want to be outed or go to the hassle of namechanging then namechanging back again.

I'm terrible at guessing ages, I either go too old or too young.

I don't know why people are so mean about these posts, so what if people are fishing for compliments, everyone needs a pick me up now and again.
I think it is interesting too but I think so many way over shoot it just to tear people down. I mean Autumn in her 50's, no way she looks past 40, she doesn't have one wrinkle !!!

Most people look their age. It's a bit sad when you need validation from a bunch of strangers on the internet.

I agree most people look their age. The reason they think they don't is because nowadays there's no distinction really between clothes, hair and make up that a person in their twenties would have and a person in their fifties. When I was growing up in the eighties, women would have such aging hairstyles and clothes once they reached a certain age. It definitely set them apart from younger people

Why? Because I've no idea who you are TKAA, but everytime you are annoyed, it pleases me no end.

It gives me laughs. I don't even know why I irritate you but the fact I do makes me want to do it more.

I'm not so bothered about guessing my age, because I always looked young for my age but was seriously ill for a while two years ago and it really took its toll on my looks as well as my body, so I look pretty much my age now (I.e nobody is surprised any more when I tell them) but I would like some style tips as I feel stuck in a rut and don't know what would suit me! Just nothing involving dying my hair as I'm allergic to dye

This is me, thought I'd post it because I'm having a relatively (frizz free) hair day and decided to put some make up on this morning. But my roots need doing, and I care about my roots because grey hair does not suit my complexion. Just makes my face look grey. I'm feeling very vain.
