I misread it on the other thread. You said your DH was 59, (but that was also a typo). I just remembered the photo and the 50s age and thought yes she does look a bit younger than 50s. 41 is not old so why do you think you look younger? You look like a woman in their 40s-50s. Not a woman in their 20s. There is nothing wrong with being a woman in her 40s.

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 18:45

Which other thread? I’ve never mentioned being in my 50’s?
I know there’s nothing wrong with looking 40’s at all, as that’s what I am.
I’m not the one who’s said I look younger - I’ve said on this and the other similar threads that people in real life say I look younger, and other people on this thread said they thought I was between 28-40.
Based on this photo, you think I look 50’s?

lourac4 · 06/04/2020 18:58

Tigerbear, you definitely don’t look in your 50s but you do look early to mid 40s. You look great whatever your age.

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 19:08

Thanks @lourac4
It’s so interesting to see different comments based on different pictures.

MrsBobDylan · 06/04/2020 19:34

Why are you all doing this to yourselves? Is it because you think you look significantly younger than your actual age and when people guess you look younger, it makes you feel good? If they guess you look older then you must feel really shit?

Utterly bizarre.

TKAAHUARTG · 06/04/2020 19:37

I said you looked good for your 50s. (Based on my misreading another thread) I don’t think you look younger than your age, no. It’s not insulting to look your age, Itisn’t like years ago when people in their 40s often did look older. You could be anything from about 40-55.

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 19:50

@TKAAHUARTG fair enough.
No, I know it’s not insulting to look your age, at all.

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 19:56

@MrsBobDylan it’s just quite interesting, that’s all. I work in fashion/beauty so am constantly bombarded with images, of people commenting on how old people look etc.
In real life people always say I look younger (mainly 30’s)
On this thread, people have said I look between 29-42, based on 3 different photos, except for TAKAA who said 40-50’s.

BunnytheBee · 06/04/2020 20:23

Oh god @tigerbear you asked for opinions and don’t like when someone has said you look older than you’d hoped. Let it go.

menthollyinsane · 06/04/2020 20:25

@tigerbear I would have guessed that you were around 40. More importantly, why are you holding up a stripy M? You have a nice smiley face.

squishedgrapes · 06/04/2020 20:48

I think some women have youthful faces, but your hands/ posture/ lack of muscle and slackness often gives it away. Younger people who don't work out, age into older people with very flaccid bodies, with fat that hangs down. Skinny people tend to look fragile as they get older. It's nit always abou the face, it's the whole picture

ReturnofSaturn · 06/04/2020 21:14

Tiger there is no way you look 50's.
I would have said late 30's - 40.

WanderingTrolley1 · 06/04/2020 21:24

LOD, 36
Tiger, 47 (in pic with mum)

Terralee · 06/04/2020 21:26

@tigerbear I would've guessed 35.

No way 50s!! I've got lots of colleagues aged over 50 & you look way younger!!
I think some people are being a bit... hmmm.

I'm not going to put my photo up in case I get told I look 53 instead of 43 I'd be gutted if I'm honest. There's nothing wrong with looking 50s if you are that age but not when you're 10 years younger!

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 21:44

@BunnytheBee I’m really not that bothered if people are saying 40’s or whatever, I was just asking TAKAA why she’d said up to 55...

@menthollyinsane ha, it was just for a random family photo, about 15 of us had to create a few words, each holding up a letter.

@WanderingTrolley1 @ReturnofSaturn and @Terralee thanks

TrudysTerribleFringe · 06/04/2020 21:52

Are we still playing? I will post a pic with make up and without.

I didn't guess any correctly, I suck at the game so badly!

TKAAHUARTG · 06/04/2020 21:56

In my defence I did not actually say you looked in your 50s tiger. I said I misread that you were on your 50s on another thread. But I did say I would not be surprised if you were in your 50s because everyone I know in their 40s/50s looks pretty much the same as you. I now know you are in your 40s and you don't look younger than that. You may be pleasantly surprised that you may not age all that much over the next decade.

menthollyinsane · 06/04/2020 22:02

@TrudysTerribleFringe with make up you look just like Cheryl Cole/tweedy what ever her name is. You are very pretty with or without make up. No idea what age to put you at.

TrudysTerribleFringe · 06/04/2020 22:03

Thank you @menthollyinsane

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 22:04

Ok @TKAAHUARTG, no worries 👍

@TrudysTerribleFringe you look amazing, makeup or not. I would say 28-30ish?

Hannahlouise4026 · 06/04/2020 22:09

@tigerbear no way do you look anywhere near 50. I can really see how anyone could think that, from looking at those photos alone. It’s like people are being deliberately petty 🙄 I’d say around mid thirties ish.

@TrudysTerribleFringe I’d say similar age to me, about 31 ish?

lourac4 · 06/04/2020 22:09

Trudisterriblefringe, you look fab with or without, I would say late 30s to very early 40s

TrudysTerribleFringe · 06/04/2020 22:17

I guessed early 40s for you @tigerbear.

You are all close with my age. I will be 34 next week. I am very aware of my aging so nice to know I look around my age and not 50s Wink

WanderingTrolley1 · 06/04/2020 22:18

Trudi, you are stunning. 36

tigerbear · 06/04/2020 22:21

@TrudysTerribleFringe thanks.
Wow, you look great!!
