Deodorant

Has anyone got good things to say about any of the more natural deodorants?

I've tried the crystal Rock types. They seem to work okay. I am currently trying NUUD (again) but I'm still a little stinky.

Have seen some pop up on my Facebook - Wild, Native. I think the Native is from USA though so prob be expensive to mail.

I don't mind sweating as I tend to do so anyway regardless of which anti perspirant /deodorant I use. I exercise a lot so I know I'm going to perspire. Just don't want to smell.

And home made wise I think the recipe I used was the same as @ncqtime and it's great! I halved it to try it out and make sure it worked, and will definitely make again

Natural Deodorant Company, a range of scents and types - gentle, clean and active.
Allow your skin and body to adjust to natural deodorant and you won't look back.

Thanks all.

A few to look into there.

I have been using the NUUD every day (instead of the suggested once every three days) and it seems to be working - however it's going to work out too pricey to do that.

I have tried Natural Deodorant Company, Native and Wild and my favourite is Wild.

Natural Deo Company took away any smell but I still sweated quite a bit. The application was a bit messy.

Native seemed to leave a residue on my pits and clothes and I smelt a bit fusty (not exactly a B.O smell) at the end of the day, although I sweated less.

With Wild, I hardly sweat, it smells lush and I love the eco friendly, reusable container. My skin also feels very smooth and moisturised.

I have tried for many years to find a deodorant that works. Some products worked for a short time and then stopped. I had given up hope but have now found Boxworth Botanicals peppermint deodorant. It is still working weeks later. If odour is your problem, give it a go - I just hope they never change the formula. It is a cream but they give you a lolly stick to apply. I have no connection to the company btw.

Weleda Rose, or Neal’s Yard Lavender and Aloe Vera work okay for me. No smell, except in very hot summer weather!

I tried Nuud, I tried all of the tips they suggest and tried it for ages. Didn't work, simply did not work. Eventually ended up with a rash too. They will refund you though.

Tried pit rock, again didn't really work. Maybe lasts almost a day.

Salt of the Earth - melon (specifically) only one that works for me and it's great.
