Best powder or mascara for covering grey?

I have a mixture of blonde and brown highlights, and nature has kindly given me a weird grey chunk in the middle of my fringe, which my hairdresser usually deals with.

The grey chunk is now really showing through, and as I don’t want to look like a rodent, I tried experimenting with some dark brown eyeshadow and this really took the edge off the grey, although obviously it brushes out.

So can anyone recommend a product, either powder or mascara that will blend with blonde and brown Highlights , to cover up the grey streak?

I have been looking at Color Wow, but it’s nearly £30 ....

Colour Wow works well on my light blonde hair, in the platinum shade. I don't have lots of grey but it does cover grey at the roots in between getting my highlights done. I've found it doesn't brush out.

I have the John Frieda Root Blur powder palette. It has two shades - one darker and one lighter which I like as you can mix/blend/use separately.

It's cheaper than the Colour Wow one. It comes with a chiselled brush that works really well on partings and the edges around my face.

I'm always amazed that it lasts but it does, it must stick to the hair somehow.

I use a little spray of batiste coloured dry shampoo and rub in with a tissue over the parting to get rid of excess. Takes 2 seconds.

I got a new one the other day from Amazon by "Hair Genetics". Don't know how to link without showing my details but if you search that name and "root touch up", it comes up for £9.99. I am really impressed so far compared to other powder ones I've tried before.

I've tried quite a few and the best of the Makeup Revolution powder one from Superdrug. It's much cheaper than Colour Wow or John Frieda and really good.

Sorry that should say best is makeup revolution.
