I usually have gel nails done every three weeks but now the salon is closed. I picked of the gel ( I know, I am bad!) and have buffed and polished my own nails. I'm very pleased with them. Although I usually have a very bold colour I didn't really trust myself applying a brighter shade so I went for pale pink.

I've just looked at the photo and realised it hasn't come out very well. It looks all ridged and it isn't!

I’ve been waiting for my nails to recover after having to pick off a gel manicure a few weeks ago. They’re just about okay now so I might do them tomorrow, and I’ll pop back in if/when I do!

I read our nails should be really short. Fist your fingers into your palm if you can feel your nails they are too long, you should feel the tips of your fingers. My nails are now short for the duration.

My nails are already short due to aforementioned gel removal without the proper materials. I’m not too worried anyway as I’ve been self-isolating for three weeks plus now.
