Philips lumea speed of flash help!

I'm using my new prestige model with the slide and flash function. It's quite slow. Was using on legs and it flashes about every 4 seconds. Ugh.

Then did under arms and managed to do the same thing but it flashed every 1-2 seconds. MUCH faster and loved it. Now I can't get it to do that again. It's back to 4 seconds.

So. Having a painful live chat with Philips but want to know, what speed is yours flashing at on your slide and flash function?

I haven’t timed how fast mine flashes but I have noticed a big difference when it’s plugged in, much faster than when using it cordless.

Mine as well! So slow. Managed to make it fast once but never again. If you get a answer please pos!

Ugh, I figured it out. It's awesomely fast on setting 1, and slowest in setting 5. So when I got all excited that first time it seems I was on setting one and therefore not doing it right! Oh well!

Anyway, yes you have to use it plugged in!

I really recommend that people buy the corded version of the Lumea. It is simply a better option. There is no advantage to the cordless version and a LOT of disadvantages.

This is interesting, I'm still using level 5 on my legs although there isn't much hair left. If level 1 is faster I'll try that, I'm just really in maintenance now so hopefully that won't undo anything!
