Anyone use a facial oil as opposed to moisturiser?

What’s your thoughts? I’ve read a few things online that oils are better for acne/oily combination skin - I don’t know how true this is?
I am interested in this as every moisturiser I try breaks me out or causes small under the skin bumps. I try & use oil free or no silicone ones but majority of them still upset my skin Sad

Spent years trying to find something suitable - fed up of keep trying new products now.

Oh and the reason I chose that one is that it’s a blend of different oils - I wasn’t sure what to choose individually so I went for a blend.

I use neals yard rose facial oil. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Haven’t used a cream for years. Prior to this I used to use bio oil and that was great too but this just smells divine. I have normal to slightly dry skin if that helps

I did after someone posted on here about using jojoba oil as cleanser. I did it for a couple of weeks, thought ut was good at first, then I got little lumps all over my forehead and quite a lot of spots. Took me a long time to get my skin back to normal.

The more you strip oily skin, the more oil it produces as a reaction to over cleaning/exfoliating etc. I have clarins blue lotus oil facial oil. Its lovely. Feels great. Makes my skin feel supple smells great 28.00. Prefer it to a cream

Every now and then my skin gets very dehydrated. I’ve used lots of facial oils but Pixie Rose Oil blend works a treat for me.

I find Pixie range of skin care really good. It is expensive but a little goes a long way. I’m going to try the overnight retinol oil when I’m able to find it (and afford it) next.

I really rate Balance Me Rose Otto oil. I use in the morning (a little goes a long way), then apply an origins moisturiser. It's the perfect base for my makeup. I do oil/moisturiser, then dry my hair, then apply makeup. My skin doesn't free greasy, just lovely and soft and plumped.
I used to use the Clarins blue oil which I also liked, but the BM one is really lovely. Can get it quite often on offer on various sites. Waitrose stock it too.

The Blue Lotus Oil is from Clarins.

I'm currently using Grapeseed oil once a day from Holland and Barrett. It is a light oil and benefits are supposed to be anti inflammatory and many others including to help stay youthful, also doesn't clog pores like others. I still get the odd spot but that's my skin with everything.

I found Rosehip and Jojoba too heavy.
