Regrowth parting - dark blonde help!

I am wondering what to do? I was already overdue a half head of highlights. I am naturally a dark blonde - very flat colour and would either have t-section or half head of two lighter blondes to 'lift' my colour. To quote my ten year old - 'you look like a badger'. Any suggestions - do I sit it out or find a product to sort out the stripe/parting?

Save up then treat yourself once this is over.

I suggested this on another thread earlier. Coloured dry shampoo on the roots if you’re planning to go out in public with roots until you can get it done properly. It’s not worth it to dye it

Couldn't you use a semi box colour which gradually washes out?

That's a good idea - never done that before. Will investigate the options next time I need to go to the supermarket (assuming they are still stocking these kinds of items..)
