Eyes Whitening

Hello

The whites of my eyes aren't white. They've been that way as long as I can remember. Been on Visine and Rhoto Cool for more than 7 years. They've stopped being effective. My eyes always look tired, stoned and make me look old.

Is there anything I can do please? Thank you.

Excessive use of eye drops that cause vasoconstriction can lead to ocular surface disease and/or glaucoma and both of those drops are vadoconstrictors. You are 'on' them because you purchase them I assume- no medical professional in the UK would prescribe them cosmetically, let alone for long term use.

Eyes are not meant to be white, nobodies are. I really doubt anyone has ever looked at anyone else and thought their eyeballs were what made them look old. It doesn't sound healthy to be dilating on this and putting chemicals in your eye.

My eyes didn't use to look healthy and since I changed my diet to eating a lot of salad, veg, fruit and drinking a lot of water the whites of my eyes are very white and I get a lot of positive comments about them usually from strangers
