Help roots coming through!

Hi there, have dark brown hair, and roots starting to come through.
Can you get hair dye anywhere at the moment so can touch up roots?
Can anyone recommend one? I normally go to salon and a student does it once a month, but never bought one myself in a shop or online.

Clairol nice n easy root touch up is good, but you need to leave it on for longer than it recommends to cover grey. For all box dye I'd go one shade lighter and cooler than you think you need (ie if you think you need neutral dark brown, buy ash medium brown).

If you can't get hold of root touch up, then just for men actually works quite well because it comes with a similar brush applicator thing.

You can also just use a regular box of hair dye but just mix a smaller quality (you can't store it once mixed), but you'd need your own little brush to apply it.

In the supermarkets or Boots you can get L’Oréal magic retouch in many shades its a spray in wash out product I am going to use it where necessary to tide me over

Same! Not grey hair though so more difficult to fix.

I have brunette hair that has been bleached blonde with highlights, and if I already have regrowth now, it will look horrendous in 12 weeks! My next salon appointment would have been in 2 weeks.

I’m wondering what my hairdresser will even be able to do to sort it by then, because I would have almost 6 months of regrowth at that point. Highlights wouldn’t be sufficient as the top half of my head would still look dark.

My salon normally does root touch up then combs it through rest at end to blend in so will try same!
I only do a full head colour once or twice a year if I’ve been on holiday and get affected by the sun
Haven’t broken the news to DS yet that he’s my colourist but as it’s my birthday soon am hoping he will agree

I will have a look at the clairol root touch up then. Have to decide on colour though, am a dark to mid brown.

I tried to order hair dye on ebay but everyone's shop is closed so it let's you look at the item but if you put it in your basket it won't let you.
