Ordering and returning online

I'd placed an order in the sales on the Saturday before the lockdown the following Monday. The items arrived yesterday. Three of the 5 are great, two of them ideally I'd return. I didn't mean to put delivery people at risk by adding unnecessary items to their deliveries, adsense i haven't placed orders since. Now that I'd like to return two items it's hardly essential and i don't want to risk post office staff. I think the bag might fit in the slots outside the post office, but the label is a tracked item one and i wouldn't have a receipt. Wwyd?

I would check the extended return period. For example Toast has extended their returns to 60 days whilst M&S is 90 days.

I emailed them and surprisingly they got back to me, they've noted the issue on my account and said i can return after we're free to move again.
