Hiya all. So while the craziness is going on, I though if I might hibernating for potentially a week then I want to do a decent strength acid peel at home so I can flake incognito.

I currently use the Ren fruit peel thing which is amazing but I'm ready to ramp it up a notch.

I really would like a TCA and have always been tempted but haven't been able to book it in due to the down time.

So does anybody have any recommendations? Have googled but not convinced by some of these sites and others just seem a variation of the REN peel which I'm happy with.

Thanks in advance. Hope all are keeping well under the circumstances.

The Dr Gross peel pads - there are three strengths (gentle, universal and extra strength). They sell them in a mini 5 pack too, so you don't have to get the large pack before knowing if they're good for you.

I like bravura London. I have the glycolic and salicylic ones. Paint on with a rush, leave for 10 mins then wash off... My skin definitely looks instantly brighter and smoother longer term

God the Dr Gross ones are fantastic! I went straight to extra strength!

Ooooh I'm tempted! The only thing is will I have to give up my Paula's choice BHA toner? It would take a lot to keep me away from that.

Use the Paula daily and then skip one day to use the peel pads?

winterisstillcoming · 30/03/2020 15:40

I thought the peels were daily???
I reckon they might have bha in them anyway so might be able to skip mine. I've ordered the 5pack. They're flipping pricey but I'd rather use something that's been recommended, so thank you.

They are, but when I had them I used them rarely for more of a wow effect.

Thanks @thisenglishlife. It has salicylic acid. I'll use the 5 a day and see how I go and then drop it down.

I really recommend the ole henriksen peels, it's a three step kit that you use once a week. Boots sell it, I've used the vitamin C one and the power peel one.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution.

It's some kind of sorcery.
