I would like to make the effort with skincare and would like to try some products from the ordinary.
Can anyone please recommend the best website and products for someone in their early fifties with normal skin?
I currently have a few fine lines abs would like to look super glowlyGrinwhen we eventually get let out!

Beauty Pie.
I do use a few products from The Ordinary (well, the niacinamide serum really - I'm using the hyaluronic acid at the moment but I wont re buy when its done, and the glycolic acid but only once a week or less). The Ordinary products are STRONG and single ingredient. I think the red masque triggered me off with perioral dermatitis which took me over a year to clear up so if you do buy anything from there just take it easy and introduce one thing at a time.
Check out the Caroline Hirons cheat sheet on anti ageing to see what you should be looking for - I think in summary, retinol/tretinoin (or adapalene if you have sensitive skin), vitamin c and niacinamide are anti age and pro glow.
Beauty Pie is great for high quality but reasonably priced skincare.

I love superdrug glycolic peel overnight.

Glycolic toner

Aha and Bha 2% mask for glow

The ordinary squaline face cleanser is my fav. It leaves skin so soft and nice just from washing.
Yes to the above advice- I went in to full on/ all or nothing mode with their AHA + BHA acid peel. Oops! shitty skin for a good few weeks after as it was too strong to leave on as long as i did the first time.
I quite like their serum foundation too, colour matching is a bit hit and miss though. I'd like if they started doing little samples.

the aha/bha peel is good.
I was given that and a granactive retinol (2% in squalene) for christmas. the retinol is meh, doesn't seem to do anything.
