Anyone tried eyelash growing serum?

Figured the lockdown could be used to do some “prettyfying”. Can anyone recommend a serum thingy that’s actually made a difference?

I took off my eyelash extensions so mine are all sad and short. I bought caster oil due to fancy magazine recommendation and £6 price tag on Amazon. I'll keep you posted.

Rapid lash works for me. I have lovely long eyelashes and only need one coat of mascara

SurpriseSparDay · 27/03/2020 13:47

I am on week three of Rapidlash. (After about a decade of doing this face Shock over the price. Fell over a discount.) It does seem an opportune moment to try it out.

So, too early to tell. I’m generally sanguine about my appearance, but my eyelashes are so thin and tiny they hardly support the tiny amount of liquid that attaches to the brush.

I realise there’s a chance it might not work on me. But I hope it does!

Purplecatshopaholic · 27/03/2020 18:30

I use Rapidlash. I rate it, it defo makes a difference

SurpriseSparDay · 27/03/2020 18:30

After how long???

Freshnewus · 27/03/2020 18:31

I've had good results with revitalash

ilovewinterpansies · 27/03/2020 18:42

Had good results with rapid lash. Didn't make my lashes thicker but definitely made them longer, and with mascara to thicken them they now look great.

Also bought a heated lash curler - gamechanger!!

Purplecatshopaholic · 27/03/2020 18:49

Does take quite a few weeks to make a difference

crazycatgal · 27/03/2020 18:58

I tried Rapid lash after I removed my semi-permanent lashes and had basically nothing left. It worked really well.

SurpriseSparDay · 27/03/2020 19:09

I’m an idiot. I’m using Revitalash. Not the other one. Hmm

TheWordmeister · 27/03/2020 20:32

I've only used revitalash but it works really well. Too well really - I had to stop using it as my lashes were hitting my sunglasses.

MowzersAsleep · 27/03/2020 20:34

I read Vaseline is good for them, not sure if it really is.

Bluesheep8 · 28/03/2020 09:20

Ive used revitalash for about 10 years. I have great eyelashes. Only trouble is that qvc appear to have stopped selling it Hmm

Blackbutler86 · 28/03/2020 09:26

Yes I have been using serum for years after having my lash extensions taken off due to being allergic to the glue. It does work but takes a good few weeks until you see a difference. I started with rapid lash but then discovered much cheaper ones work just as well. I’d just have a browse on Amazon and read the reviews. The one I’m currently using is out of stock or I’d recommend it.

TheWordmeister · 28/03/2020 09:57

I have also used 'rapidbrow' on my eyebrows. That's a cheap one but it works really well to thicken them.

SurpriseSparDay · 31/03/2020 07:58

Well this is strange ...

Fourth week. A couple of unusually long but spindly lashes on my left eye. A line of thicker, curlier but not a millimetre longer lashes on my right eye.

Confused
