Looking for advice re home hair dye. I have mousy brown hair which is salon highlighted very blonde at the moment. It's not been done for 3 months and is in desperate need, but I'm not willing to go to a salon at the moment because of social distancing.
I've had my hair highlighted for 20 years. Twice in my student days I tried bleaching it at home and always ended up with ginger roots. I'm considering reaching for a box colour again now in absence of a salon appointment.
Rather than blonde and it going wrong again, I'm considering a more auburn colour - I'm ghostly pale with I think a cool undertone, blue eyes, light mousy eyebrows. Any suggestions for a colour please? And make/ brand of dye and how to avoid any mishaps?
